IN THE HOTSEAT TODAY - BOI'S COMMANDING CENTRE HALF - HE'S HAD MORE GOAL ATTEMPTS THAN DIEGO FORLAN AND SCORED JUST AS MANY....
DAN DONALDSON...

Dan when can we expect to see you back in action?
Still can't do it doggy style but other than that I have had plenty of action thanks! I should be able to play again in about 4-6 weeks. That basically means that I might make a return for the last game of the season, or second last to break Millard's puny little legs! My real aim is to get fully fit for next season. I am also planning to do a marathon in the next year or so.
What have you been doing since your op?
I spent a week playing Football Manager 2005 and got Weston-Super-Mare promoted to the Conference. I also did the BOI player profiles I was that bored! I am now able to walk and drive so have been back working. At the weekends I have mostly been watching football. I should be able to do some swimming and cycling this week. Unlike some of the BOI team I like to keep myself in good shape so sitting around on the sofa has been really frustrating.

Have you discovered any new web sites? (not your usual ones - this is a family site)
This is a stupid but good game if you can't get a real girlfriend - Bell, try to get a virtual one with Ganguro Girl
Excellent after a few beers, very difficult after many beers, is Stick Cricket

Another good game, especially good if your having a bad day...

Last but not least, um scorpions in a cave

We know you used to play for Yeovil when they were crap - how does it compare to playing with a better set of green and white hooped players?
No comparison. I love everything about Sunday morning football, waking up with a hangover, playing on the side of a hill, getting lumps kicked out of me
and having Little Britain's Andy for a ref. Quality of football ain't much different. I reckon BOI could cope in the Conference.
BOI have had a majority of centre backs this year Darby, Barlow, Andrews, Coles, Morgan. Who do you prefer playing alongside?
Naughty question that, you trying to lose me votes in the MOTM awards?? Would have to be Darby as we have formed a formiddable partnership and when both fit we would have to be the 1st choice pairing.
Who do you base your game on as a player?
I play my own game. I get likened to Rio as I to try and play a bit, but I am older than him so he must have copied me. My childhood hero was Bryan Robson and I always wanted to be a box to box midfielder but because of my height I always got played at centre half. I am happy there now as it means less running. If I had to pick a defender I would have to say "The Steel Man" Franco Baresi.

With your leadership qualities at the back will you be looking for Barlow to 'do a Tinnion' and strip Turner of the captaincy and give it to you?
NO. I think the Tinman has made some big mistakes recently. It is the managers job to get the best out of his players, not sell the best one's if they are underperforming. Turner is the life and soul of the dressing room and makes an ideal captain. He just needs to regain confidence following his penalty miss against Littlesea.
What has been your highlight and lowlight of the season so far?
Highlight was obviously scoring my first goal in years.
Lowlight was a drive to Highridge when the game had already been cancelled.
What do you think of your latest suspension - brought on by Sam Coles? Do you have a special message for him?
Red mist Colesy you are a tw*t.
With you finally scoring after coming so close many times this season it has brought you level on goals with Bell, Thorne, and Coles - who of those three would you love to beat?
It would have to be Sam for winding me up about the Gypsy curse. An ex-girlfriend always said she was a gypsy and I had not scored since we split up. Now that the curse has ended there will be no stopping me!
With so many MOTM awards so far this season do you think your injury has ruled you out of the running of receiving the Player of the Season?
I was surprised with how many votes I got as I always thought defenders were an undervalued part of a team. It is difficult to see me taking the honours though with such a long lay off. I think it's between Nasty Nic, Tom Del Piero, The French peasant and Growler.
Why should you walk back into the team when you are recovered?
Hah, 2 games and 2 defeats without me. I reckon I could hop back into the team!
Have you got any words of encouragement for your team mates playing on a sunday in the cold pouring rain at the imperial while your still warm in your bed?
Yep, I will be along next week and expect to see finely tuned athletes involved in a great spectacle of football. Eat lots of pasta, stay off the beers and get an early night.
Do you think Bell should have brought us back some cheerleaders?
Yes. I reckon that Bell should have bought back a bevvy of beauties with lovely pom poms, whose knickers just fall off at the sound of an english accent.

If your injury had ruled you out of playing football ever again, what sport would you pick up? I think you look like a lawn boules man myself.
My second sport is surfing followed closely by mountain biking. If it had to be something non-active then probably darts or skittles, maybe even both. I know I have a few grey hairs but not enough for lawn boules. Not yet anyway.
